DESIGN DETAILS

The captivating garden at Hawkesdon House is a testament to the transformative power of thoughtful and visionary design. It exemplifies a harmonious blend of contemporary minimalism with the timeless allure of rural Suffolk.

Deriving inspiration from the property’s natural terrain, a series of terraces complement the architectural palette of brick and flint and elegantly graduate from the house to provide a seamless and blurred transition from interior to exterior spaces, offering a succession of stunning vistas.

One of the defining features of the Hawkedon’s contemporary garden is its minimalist planting scheme which echos the natural landscape of Suffolk. Meticulously sculpted topiary punctuates swathes of perennial grasses, reflecting the aesthetic of the surrounding countryside, where round-headed ancient trees and expansive grasslands conjure a sense of timeless beauty and serenity.
