Event

The Jockey Club have asked me to judge this year’s Floral Awards which are being held for the first time as the course cannot open to the public.
The Moët & Chandon July Festival is known for its vibrant floral displays, almost as much as for its fashion, dining and of course premium Flat racing. And although this year the festival takes place behind closed doors with the public unable to attend, that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy a July Festival experience.

The Floral Awards

ou are invited to enter the first ever July Festival Floral Awards by submitting photos of the flowers you’re growing at home, whether an entire flower bed or a simple window box.

Entries open Thursday 9th July and you have until 2.00pm on Saturday 11th July to upload your entry. Taking part is easy, simply take a picture of the floral display you’re growing in your garden, pots or window box and share on instagram, using #FloralAwards and tagging @tomhoblyn and @newmarket_racecourses.

Prizes will be from Moet and Chandon.
